Q: If a window pops up and says
"Warning! Virus found. Click here to scan."; what should I do?
A: First, try to close the window by clicking the X in the upper right
corner. If that doesn't work, you may have to force the computer to shut
down. You can do this by holding the power button in for 5 seconds. Restart and run your anti-virus program.
Q: How often should I optimize (defrag) my hard drive?
A: It depends on how much you use your computer. If you
are constantly adding and deleting files, it would be best to optimize
once a month. If you rarely add or delete files, then once every 6
months would be adequate. A severely fragmented hard drive can
significantly slow your computer down.
Q: Can I share personal information with only my friends
on Facebook?
A: Of course you can. We can show you how to limit the information that
the public sees versus what your confirmed friends see.
